Bahrain follows UAE to normalise ties with Israel

Bahrain has followed the United Arab Emirates in formally recognising Israel.
The United States president has described the move as an ‘historic breakthrough’ to achieving peace in the Middle East.
But Palestinian leaders call it a “betrayal”.
